Wild Rice Storage

Wild rice storage is different from white rice. Wild rice seeds don't survive long and don't preserve easily. Many breeders just stick their wild rice seeds in a refrigerator.

Sealed in an airtight package, wild rice can usually be stored in a cool dry place for many months. It is common to refrigerate wild rice for longer-term storage.
